"We have long been advocates for healthy fare. Souper Salad was our favorite quick-serve spot when we were completing our degrees at Arizona State University. The Souper Salad was just down the street from us, offered fresh, healthy options, and was priced right because money was tight. Souper Salad wasn't a known concept in the Boise area, so the menu surprised first-time customers; our biggest satisfaction has come from customer referrals and a very loyal customer base. We have retirees and business people who stop in for lunch and a lot of families on weeknights and weekends. We had never worked in a restaurant, but we were given the tools and professional support from Souper Salad that have helped us become successful. We have also been open to suggestions and implemented changes to improve our daily operations."

"We operate six Subway stores in Laredo and Cotulla but were looking for new business opportunities. We jumped at the chance to enter the San Antonio market because this is where Jackie’s family is from. When we first considered purchasing a Souper Salad franchise, we assumed our first store would be in Laredo because we were unaware of the opportunities in San Antonio. San Antonio is definitely underserved right now; we think we can add another four restaurants over the next several years. We were looking for a different franchise, but one that still offered a healthy option, Souper Salad is a good fit because it is considered to be a very healthy brand. The decision to go with Souper Salad was a great choice. It’s great to be a part of a business that’s good for people and good for us. We are currently scouting the Alamo city for a new Souper Salad store, which we want to build from the ground up."
