Pueblo, CO, April 19, 2010 – Souper Salad, Inc. has named Robin Secora as The Difference Maker – an award given to a Souper Salad General Manager for his or her exceptional performance and ability to deliver an outstanding customer experience.  To win this award, Secora competed against Souper Salad stores companywide, including stores in Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, New Mexico, Nevada, North Carolina, South Carolina Tennessee, Texas and Utah.

“I’m passionate about the healthy options we offer to families in our community,” says Secora who began her career at Souper Salad in 1998 as an assistant manager.  Secora was promoted to General Manager of the Pueblo store in 2001. Prior to joining Souper Salad, Secora worked for a family-owned restaurant where she gained invaluable experience in every facet of the business.

“Customer service seems to have become a thing of the past,” says Secora.  “Our goal is to provide outstanding hospitality and to welcome our customers as if they were coming into my home.”

Tips for making a difference?  According to Secora, there are three qualities that are essential: 1) listen to your customers, 2) focus on the quality of everything you do, and 3) provide a clean, happy and friendly environment so that customers want to return. Her advice reaches across all types of businesses.  Of course, Secora adds “My crew makes me who I am. They work hard, take pride in what they do, and love what they do.”

According to Souper Salad President and CEO Tim Taft, “Robin Secora demonstrates what it takes to be among the best in our business – hardworking, team-oriented, responsive to her customers and a great team player.  She leads by example.”
